Whole Chicken Oven Roast

An oven roasted whole chicken is the perfect dinner. It's my super easy "wholesome" and "healthy" dinner because a whole chicken is filling and can be paired with nearly any vegetables I have on hand. It takes almost no time to get the chicken and vegetables into a pan and in the oven. One hour later, dinner is served hot and tasty!

Notes

Oven dish - Any oven dish or pan will work. If you do not have one with a lid, you can add tin foil to cover the chicken, like I do.
Vegetables - I dice any vegetables I have on hand and add them into the pan around my chicken. They cook in the juicy chicken flavour that drips from the chicken while it's cooking, which will give you tender and flavourful vegetables.
Seasoning - Salt and pepper is our primary seasoning. From there, I will add additional seasoning if I have time. Rosemary pairs wonderfully with chicken and so does paprika if you like a some extra heat with your chicken bite.
Quality chicken - I should note here that a quality chicken won't require much to help to taste good (in terms of seasoning). While certain flavours go well together and can enhance the flavour of a dish, real animals have a delicious tasting flavour all on their own. Just like near most every real kind of food out there that exist in its true form (without too much human interference).
